The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Monday, said 18 ships are discharging petroleum products and foodstuff at the Lagos port.
The NPA made this known in its publication: “Shipping Position”.
NPA listed the contents of the ships as general cargo, containers, bulk wheat, petrol, fertiliser, base oil, bulk sugar, soya bean oil, corn, raw sugar and bulk gypsum.
It said 15 other ships had arrived the ports and were waiting to berth with containers.
The authority further said it was expecting 12 other ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods from August 10. (NAN)
