The first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals will kick-off on Monday with Inter Milan set to face Bayer Leverkusen while Manchester United play FC Copenhagen.
On Tuesday, Shakhtar Donetsk will host FC Basel as Nuno’s Wolverhampton Wanderers battle Lopetegui’s Sevilla for the last four spots in the semi-finals.
However, at this stage, sports analysts, fans, and pundits have started predicting the favourite sides that have presented enough credentials to win the league.
The following are the top favorites for the UEFA Europa League trophy for the 2019/2020 season;
4. Wolverhampton Wanderers
The English Premier League side which slightly fell from getting the UCL spot in the just concluded season have shown keen interest in winning this season’s Europa trophy.
The manager Nuno Espirito Santos has struggled through thin chances to arrive at the quarter-finals but the team has been a tough side to give tight tie.
Before arriving at the quarter-finals, Wolves thumbed Besiktas and Espanyol before defeating Olympiakos in the round of 16 with a single goal margin.
The players Nuno will be parading which includes; ace dribbler Adama Traore, Raul Jimenez, Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves, and Diogo Jota provide him with an advantage ahead of others in pursuit of the league triumph.
3. Inter Milan
Since their exit from the UEFA Champions League, Inter Milan have cruised through the round 32 against Ludogorets on 4-1 aggregate.
The Antonio Conte’s sides crossed the round 16 knockout stage after dumping Getafe 2-1 with Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen registering on the scorecard.
Apart from Manchester United, no team has more key players to compete in the league than Inter.
Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku, Christian Eriksen, Alexis Sanchez, Ashley Young, Marcelo Brozovic, and Diego Godin are players that can take Inter to victory.
2. Sevilla
The Spanish side, Sevilla is one of the most successful clubs in the league after winning the UEFA Europa League five times, more than any other European club.
Sevilla is also the only side to have retained their title twice and also three times in a row (in 2006 and 2007; and in 2014, 2015, and 2016).
Apart from its historical stand in the league, Sevilla also have in squad what it takes to win the league this season.

Manchester United is the biggest side in the league in terms of key players, UEFA triumphs, and performance.
The reds have won three UEFA Champions Leagues, one UEFA Europa League, one UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, one Intercontinental Cup, and one FIFA Club World Cup.
The Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s United defeated Club Brugge in the round 32 of the leagues and proceeded on to thumb down LASK in round 16 on 7-1 aggregate.
They are set to battle Copenhagen in the quarter-finals and have presented the biggest determination to win the league.
