Operators of Gujeni Integrated Iron Ore, Mining and Processing Plants, the African Natural Resources and Mining Limited, on Monday commissioned various projects executed by it as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Gujeni community in Kagarko, Kaduna state.
The projects executed by the company include three motorised boreholes in three different locations, installation of 500KVA transformer, refurbishing of 200KVA, provision of 140 concrete electricity poles and many others were commissioned by Kaduna State government and handed over to the community.

The commissioning, carried out by Chairman of Kagarko Local Government Area, Hon. Nasara Rago, who was represented by his deputy, Adamu Shu’aibu, also had the Emir of Jere, Alh. Abdullahi Jere and ANRML management team led by its director, Prof. John Akanya in attendance.
Receiving the projects on behalf of the community, the head, Chief Philemon Auta stated that he, the councilor representing the community and other stakeholders had engaged the youths and explained the benefits of siting such a company in their domain.
Earlier, Akanya had commended the community for accommodating the company, adding that “the Community Development Agreement (CDA) and Corporate Social Responsibility is not only the statutory responsibility of a responsive corporate body, but it also reflects the commitment of the project proponent towards our host community.”
