Sheffield Wednesday towering defender Dominic Iorfa Jnr earned himself a place in the English Championship Team of the Week after his fifth minute goal inspired his team to 3-0 win away against struggling Queens Park Rangers.
Interestingly, his father, Dominic Iorfa, who is a former Nigerian international, made a name playing for Queens Park Rangers.

The England junior international’s second goal of the season opened the way for Josh Windass and Jacob Murphy to score a goal each to secure a much-needed second win since the restart for Garry Monk’s side.
Apart from his goal, Iorfa made decisive tackles as he consistently warded off some dangerous incursions made by the home side.
Moments after the encounter which the visitors dominated, the youngster took to twitter to celebrate the victory and also rue the absence of their fans.
He wrote “Our fans are unbelievable and if they were there with us, the atmosphere would have been unreal and we miss that. They make a huge difference..”
Iorfa’s performance against QPR didn’t go unnoticed as he was the only Sheffield Wednesday player listed in the Championship Team of the Week.
The Best 11 players were picked based on their performances in matches played between 10-12 July.
