Three persons were reported killed at Maitsani village of Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area and two girls abducted at Kurfi town in Kurfi Local Government Area all in Katsina State, Daily Trust reports.
Those killed during an attack, according to the people, were Sada Sani and Shuaibu Abubakar, while Sani Turare died from injuries sustained after he was hospitalised at Dutsin-Ma General Hospital.

The gunmen attacked the town on Saturday night, shooting sporadically and injuring many people.
They carted away an undisclosed number of sheep and cattle as they retreated.
Also, on Sunday night, suspected bandits stormed Sabuwar Unguwa, Sabon Layi in Kurfi town abducting two young women identified as Nana Fiddausi Sani, 17 and Fauziya Sani, 14.
The people said the abductors stormed the area at about 2am and kidnapped the two girls after gaining access to their residence.
The police were yet to respond to inquiries on the two incidents at press time.
