Those who are close to him cheerfully admit that he is a slave to three things in his entire life; humanity, hard work and above all his religion.
Senator Gaidam can be benevolent to a responsibility.
Habitually, he is always ready to go famished just to extend a helping hand to the needy.
He is ever ready to spend his last kobo on humanity which explains why he is popularly referred to as the Sahel Legend.
There is no gainsaying the fact that throughout most of the history of modern democracy in the world, the Senate, the most remarkable of all the inventions of representatives democracy has variously been described and regarded as “Power House”, “Upper House”, “Council of Advisers and Elders” representing the Latin word “Senatus”.
It’s in the context of this prestigious calling to make good laws for the good governance of our country in the Upper Legislative Chamber that Senator Gaidam vied to come to the Senate to represent the good people of Yobe East Senatorial District.
After offering selfless service and contributing to the improvement in the lives of the people; it is only expected that the people will show their appreciation by putting him forward for more service.
The people gave all their support to him to come to the Senate to contribute his quota to national development.
At this juncture, it is important to point out that the ninth Senate of the National Assembly under the able leadership of Distinguished Senator Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan is making a difference, its impressive and commendable performance so far in restoring the Upper Chamber’s past glory, and this can be attributed to the contributions of many patriotic and dutiful Senators, one of which is Senator (Dr) Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam.
It’s widely believed that Senator Gaidam is making a huge contribution in the Senate because of his over 10 years executive experience as Dep Governor, Governor and years of public service.
He is providing effective representation, giving voice to the people and their concerns, and attracting development to his constituency.
He is carrying out his primary duty as a lawmaker with all seriousness and commitment by contributing to debates, bills, oversight functions, and other sundry issues of national importance in the 9th Senate.
It’s a trite fact that just like the other 108, Senator Gaidam is representing the good people of Yobe East Senatorial District.
He is there to make good laws for the good governance of this country in the most patriotic and dutiful ninth session of the National Assembly under the distinguished Chairmanship of HE Senator Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan.
Gaidam defines a workaholic better than all the dictionaries and compendiums combined. At work he gets to tolerate rare tenacity and excellent proven proficiency. Never burdened by the natural divide of night and day, Gaidam works round the clock. Challenges at work only make him stronger.
