The former occupier of the seat, Senator Bayo Osinowo passed away early this month.

It was learnt that the PDP’s statement followed findings that some aspirants who are eyeing the party’s ticket have been soliciting for funds.

The PDP spokesman further identified a purported COVID-19 fund-raiser in the name of the party and its governorship aspirant; engineer Funsho Williams as one of the avenues to steal from innocent public.

He said the party’s organ has not at anytime approved of the fund raising.
