I did business charm for my friend not bullet repellent charm – Hunter

A hunter, Akinyemi Akinlolu, who allegedly did the failed anti-bullet charm hung on a 12-year-old boy, Venzan Qudus, whose father’s friend almost shot to death last week Tuesday while testing the charm, has denied making any bullet repellent charm for the boy’s father, Daniel Qudus.

What he produced for Daniel Qudus, Akinlolu said, was only a business charm.

Qudus Daniel had reportedly asked a friend to shoot his son intesting the charm in the Olorunda Lagelu area of Ibadan, the Oyo Statecapital, but the charm failed and hit the boy on the head.

Akinyemi said yesterday as the Oyo State Commissioner of Police,Nwachukwu Enwonwu, paraded him and some other suspects at the police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan, that he received only N500 to do the charm.

He said, “On the 23rd of this month, I saw this my brother around8am. Though he had told me to do a charm for him, he didn’t have money. That day, he gave me N500 for the work to buy materials, which I did for him. The charm was meant for his business to thrive, not to stop bullets from a gun.

“I was surprised when he later came to my house with the wounded son telling me to help remove a bullet from his body. I ignored him because I am not a doctor.”
