Ganduje reopens football viewing centres in Kano

Kano State’s Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has given approval to football viewing centres across the state to reopen for business provided they observe COVID-19 protocols.

The governor gave the permission after meeting with viewing centre operators at the Kano Government House.

Major European football leagues such as the Spanish La Liga and German Bundeliga have resumed from the COVID-19 break while the English Premier League is to kick-off on Wednesday.

It could be recalled that the governor had ordered the closure of all viewing and event centres in Kano following the outbreak of COVID-19 in the state.
