Residents celebrate return of Juma’at prayer in Zaria

Residents of Zaria on Friday openly celebrated the opening of Juma’at mosques across the city and other parts of Kaduna State.

As early as 8am, Daily Trust on Saturday observed that many residents were already dressed in their best attires ready to move out to the Juma’at mosque of their choice. Also, some of the mosques observed safety protocols.

A resident, Malam Ibrahim Dallami, said most children in the city saw yesterday (Friday) as their Eid day.
