Nigerian actress Joke Silva has debunked the rumour making the rounds that her husband Olu Jacobs is dead.
The news began making rounds on social media yesterday until Silva said her husband is alive and well.

Speaking to journalists, the Nollywood veteran said she and her family find the news depressing.
Silva also revealed that Jacobs will turn a year older next month.
She stated that the family had been getting calls from friends and associates who had wanted to know if the report was true.
Shortly after the false report emerged online, actress and producer, Lala Akindoju, who put a call through to the actor also confirmed that he is hale and hearty .
The actress made this known via her twitter handle @lalaakindoju

Veteran Nollywood actress ,Kate Henshaw also confirmed that Olu Jacobs is well and alive.

The actor is one of the most widely respected African actors of his generation.
A living legend, Uncle Olu as he is fondly called, has featured in over 130 Nollywood movies.
Together with Pete Edochie, Sam Loco Efe and Enebeli Elebuwa, he is considered by several media, film commentators and other actors as one of the most influential African actors of all time.
