Digital Pay TV Company, StarTimes has announced the introduction of a dedicated TV programme tagged ‘’Star Kids Gala’’ in commemoration of Children’s Day and for the delight of television viewers across Africa.
The 30 minutes English programme will air on ST Kids Channel today, June 1st by 6:00pm and it promises to excite children with fascinating contents.
Also, a dedicated educational TV programme for children tagged ‘Homeschooling’ has been launched on the ST Kids channel during the pandemic.
StarTimes, in a statement at the weekend said the educational TV programme brought relief to parents whose major headache has been the fear of the educational standard of their wards dropping when offline schools is unavailable.
StarTimes also launched a children channel named TOONAMI. It was produced and distributed by Warner, and is positioned as an animated superhero channel for teens from age 6-14years with classic series that include; Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Lego Super Heroes and Dragon Ball.
“StarTimes also maintains its other tasteful programmes on the platform which also contribute to the progress and creativity for children and that includes; The Guardians of Carcosa, Jelly Jamm and Fantasy Westward Journey”, the statement said.
