Kano Friday mosques Imams’ chairman is dead

The Chairman of Kano State Friday Mosques Imams’ Forum, Sheikh Fadhlu Dan-Almajiri, has died Monday night in Kano.

The Islamic cleric died at the age of 66 at a hospital in the Kano metropolis.

Confirming the death to Daily Trust on Tuesday, son of the deceased Islamic cleric, Malam Muttaka Dan-Almajiri, revealed that he died after a protracted illness and that his funeral prayers were conducted at his residence at layin ‘Yan Kabalu,  Fagge, in Kano on Tuesday.

Similarly, Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has sent condolences to the family, Kano Imams’ Forum, Tijjaniyya, and the entire Kano people over the loss.
