The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and the Nigerian Air Force Wives Association (NAFOWA) have presented palliatives to 350 households in their host communities to help cushion the effect of the lockdown to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

Members of the communities, including Barakallahu, Kauya and Kutungwari all in Kaduna State, were given rice, spaghetti, vegetable oil and beans as part of activities to mark the NAF 56th anniversary in the state.

Speaking at the distribution of palliatives to 100 households at Barakallahu, the Air Officer Commanding, Air Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Musa Murtala, said the gesture was a testimony to the long-standing relationship between the NAF and its host communities.
