The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammed Babandede has recovered from the COVID-19 disease.
The Immigration boss had tested positive for coronavirus on 29th March, 2020.
In a statement, the NIS spokesman, Sunday James, said the CG had been in self-isolation since he returned from the United Kingdom a week earlier in line with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control’s directive.
However, Babandede posted on his twitter handle on Tuesday night that he had tested negative for the virus.
“I just received my second negative report on COVID-19. I will like to thank all of you for your supplications.
“This victory is from God. We thank Him for giving me the opportunity to have the experience which is more than my education and public service.”
