He spoke on Friday at the State Command, Eleweran, Abeokuta shortly after the Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC) in the state donated hand sanitizers, thermometer and other protective kits to the command.

“The members of the public in the state are already anticipating and already aware of the lockdown. They have stabilised themselves to be law abiding during this time of restriction,” the commissioner noted.

He applauded the PCRC for the donations and urged other commands to emulate the gesture.

In their remarks, the Vice Chairman of PCRC (Southwest), Alhaji Ibrahim Olaniyan and the state Chairman, Samson Popoola said the gesture was meant to encourage and show solidarity with police officers in the discharge of their professional duties.
