Niger is to begin fumigation of public places statewide in efforts to protect residents against coronavirus.
Habib Abdulkadir, general manager of Niger’s Environment Protection Agency, told Daily Trust the agency had been mandated to disinfect public spaces.
“The places to be fumigated include public places, markets buildings, motor parks, hospitals, mosque, churches, residential streets and public squares as well as Police and Barracks.
Abdulkadir also said some major areas to be fumigated include Bida, Minna, Suleja, Mokwa, Kontagora, New Bussa and other major towns in the state.
