Kano State governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, will hold a live state broadcast at 2pm today to give the situation report on the state’s status on the novel coronavirus and the efforts put in place to contain the situation in Kano.
According to the statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Malam Abba Anwar, revealed that the state-owned Radio Kano and Abubakar Rimi Television (ARTV) and some other local radio stations will air the live broadcast by the governor.
The statement said the governor will give details of the situation at hand in the state and other efforts of the state government in responding to the threat of the pandemic.
He called for public support to the recently instituted state task force on COVID-19.
