Kano State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday announced that it successfully held ward congresses in all 484 wards in the state.
Speaking to newsmen in Kano, Adamawa State Governor Alhaji Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who led the party’s national ward congress committee to Kano State, revealed that the committee, in collaboration with the state party leadership, had conducted successful congresses in all the 484 wards in the 44 local governments of the state.
Meanwhile, the copy of a court order with suit No K/149/2020 which was issued by a High court in Kano presided by Justice Aisha Ibrahim Mahmoud has been made available to Daily Trust.
The court order has directed PDP and five others to maintain the status quo. A motion ex-parte was filed by Musa Ashiru, Adamu Yusuf and Kabiru Ibrahim.
Governor Fintiri however, denied knowing anything about a court order obtained directing the party to maintain status quo pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.
