The Senate proposed that almajiri schools be upgraded and given new models. This makes me really sceptical. The idea is a good one, but for how long will the government be able to keep up with the number of children being enrolled if the topic of birth control is not discussed? Every child has the right to a good life, which entails shelter, food and education. Because of the number of children each family has, the idea of upgrading almajiri schools might be defeated in the long run. It is better to nip the problem in the bud before it is too late.
