The National Library of Nigeria (NLN) has hosted free workshop organized by the African Library and Information and Institutions (AfLIA)
Director, Human Capacity Development and Training, AfLIA, Dr. Nkem Osuigwe stated that the workshop was basically to make librarians versatile in operating online spaces with requisite digital skills and to explore the possibilities of open licensing and to make books and information resources in various African languages for children online.
In his opening speech, the National Librarian Professor Lenrie Olatokunbo Aina said National Library which had 27 state branches was mandated to operate in all the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. He promised to accomplish the mandate within the possible shortest period.
