The governor, who spoke during the commissioning, said the terminal would be completed in one year and was expected to collapse about 22 bus stops located on the Karu-Abuja corridor.

The contract which is segmented into three, has Brosino Investment Limited, as the leading construction firm.

Gov. Sule maintained that, “The ultra-modern bus terminus, when completed, will change the traffic management scheme of the area and ultimately see the full utilisation of the Muhammadu Buhari International Market. The project will positively affect the economy and social wellbeing of millions of people of the state.”

He said the construction of a similar mega bus terminus would commence in Lafia, the state capital, in a month’s time.
