Deborah Enoma runs a couple of businesses under her company called Debskulture. She is a perfumer, a skincare therapist, runs a spa and also a logistic company called Swift Errand Logistics. She is also a motivational speaker. In this encounter with Daily Trust, she tells us how Dangote entrepreneurial skills inspired her in her businesses.

The entrepreneur from Edo State started buying and selling when she was in secondary school and since then has grown a number of businesses after a nine year experience in the financial sector.

“I run several businesses. First I am a perfumer. I got certified in Natural perfumery in Dubai. I am also a skincare therapist also got trained and certified in Dubai. I run a logistics company called Swift Errand Logistics and I also run a spa” the MBA holder in Marketing said.

Debora who started her first business with N50,000 from income she saved when she was working in the banking sector, said she has grown over the years through consistency and perseverance.

“My challenge starting up was capital. I wanted to start big but later realized that  waiting to start big would take longer time. So I started with N50,000 which was good because I have grown over the years”.

“My motivation is wanting to do better every day, the reason why I study Dangote and his business skills. I am inspired by him. I watch his videos and read a lot about him” she said

The businesswoman told Daily Trust her clientele are usually gotten from social media and referrals and explained that her target clients are young and middle age men and women.

With eight staff currently under her payroll, Debora says women should always have a plan B.

“Don’t be satisfied with one job, think outside the box, be unique” she said.

She said she has learnt to appreciate and motivate herself more through her years in entrepreneurship adding that “you should always acknowledge you are doing well and will do better”.

“I also read lots of books but my hand book is Rich dad Poor dad. I learn new things each time I open it. And it has made me a better investor, I save more and also learning the principles of business management,” she added.
