Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says there is no update on transfers as he pushes for defensive reinforcements this month.
The Gunners boss has conceded he could be forced to head into the second half of the campaign without any new faces.
Pressed on the likelihood of Arsenal failing to get anyone over the line, Arteta said: “It is a possibility, yes.”
The Gunners have been linked with PSG full-back Layvin Kurzawa in recent days but Arteta confirmed there is “nothing new” to say on any individual players as he chases a number of short-term deals.
On transfers in general he added: “Things haven’t moved at all since the weekend.”
