Bassey announced his withdrawal when the case came up for further mentioning before Justice Mikhailu Abdullahi today.

Counsel to Nasko, Mamman Mike, SAN, in response to the verbal application asked the court to terminate the case since there is no prosecution.

However, Justice Abdullahi in his response said the court would not act on a verbal application and therefore directed the prosecution to put its application in writing.

“If the prosecution puts the application in writing today and submit it before the court, I will rule on it tomorrow (Wednesday),” he said.
