The governors of the 36 states of the federation yesterday met in Abuja over deductions for Budget Support Facility loan granted by the Federal Government.
The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) and Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi.
The agenda of the meeting revealed that matters to be discussed at today’s National Executive Council (NEC) at State House, Abuja, would be reviewed.
The NGF meeting, which deliberated on the immediate actions required by the governors on Seattle declaration on polio eradication, also received briefings from the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly.
The governors were also expected to receive briefing from the Deputy High Commissioner Harriet Thompson on United Kingdom Investment Forum, among other items listed for discussion.
