Northern youth opposes alleged plot to impeach Senate President

The Arewa Youth Coalition has expressed dismay over the alleged report that some senators were planning to pass vote of no confidence on the Senate president Ahmed Lawan in order to remove him

The National President of the group, Comrade Muktar Muhammad, in a statement issued to newsmen in Kaduna, called on the senators to support Lawan’s leadership as he worked towards building a better working relationship between the executive and legislature.

Muhammad said the alleged impeachment move against Senate leadership was as a plot against President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
