NIPC, Special Duties Ministry parley on economic zones

The Chairman, Governing board, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Hon. Babangida Nguroje, has said that the synergy between the commission and the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs will see to the full optimization of the economic zones within the country and boost investments.

He said this yesterday in Abuja during a courtesy visit on the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume.

The NIPC board chairman reiterated the mandate of the commission, saying that the ministry will be a useful and profitable partner in the investment drive by the commission such that will boost the nation’s economy at all levels.

Responding, the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume assured the NIPC chairman of his ministry’s desire to support and play a vital role in ensuring that the development agenda of the country is achieved.

“The President has provided the way forward and we are going to follow it to the later to ensure that we create a future for our children and ones yet unborn,” Akume said.
