FG improves employees’ cyber security skills

The education ministry has, in collaboration with Cisco Networking Academy, launched a virtual class and training of staff on cybersecurity.

While launching the 3-day training on Monday in Abuja, Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, said the exercise was aimed at actualising the ministry’s objective of “aligning with the dynamics of the 21st century teaching, learning and administration.”

He disclosed that the training was necessitated by government’s appreciation of the potentials of ICT in sustaining the development of the country as well as its inherent dangers.
