Police prosecutor, Sergeant H. Ajibade, told an Igbosere chief magistrate court in Lagos that the accused persons conspired to “manage and operate an unlawful society”.

Ajibade alleged that the accused persons paraded themselves as cult members of the Eiye confraternity, and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 41 and 42(a) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.

All the accused persons pleaded not guilty and were granted N150,000 bail each, with two sureties each.

Magistrate Mr I. B. Bakare fixed trial for September 12, 2019.
