Zinedine Zidane has confirmed Real Madrid are looking to offload Gareth Bale – and admitted he wishes he could leave tomorrow.
Zidane opted to leave Bale out of his matchday squad as Los Blancos lost 3-1 to Bayern Munich in their opening pre-season friendly.
Despite being able to name 11 substitutes, Zidane had no place for Bale and confirmed after the match his absence was due to the club actively looking to offload the Welshman.
The Frenchman insisted he had nothing personally against the attacker – but he declared “there comes a time when we have to change” as Bale’s career with the Spanish giants looks to be over.
