NSCDC alerts on criminal impostor

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Plateau State has alerted on one Pam Musa Pam said to be parading himself as a member of the corps and committing heinous crimes.

The state spokesman of the Corps, Taminola Obasa, said the attention of the command was drawn to activities of the impostor by the Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) in April.He said OPSH had cornered Pam on the scene of a crime but he escaped and abandoned a fake identity card, after which an investigation revealed that he had been parading himself as a civil defence operative whilecommitting a lot of atrocities. He said they had put a machinery in place not only to uncover his numerous crimes but to ensure his timely arrest and bring him to book.

Obasa warned the public not to engage in anything with him on behalf of the Corps, but rather provide information that would lead to his arrest.

According to him, criminals arrested by the OPSH revealed that they had been working with a certain NSCDC personnel who happened to be Pam, whose fake identity card described  him as an Inspector, with 32024 as service number.
