Kaduna: Father, son killed in Jema’a local government

The corpses of a father with his son were on Wednesday found in a farm at Fori village in Jema’a local government area of Kaduna state, Daily Trust gathered.

The chairman of the local government, Danjuma Averik, who confirmed the development to newsmen said the victims, a father and his son, had gone to the farm since Tuesday and hadn’t returned until there dismembered bodies were found early hours of Wednesday at different locations on the farm.

“We have visited the area and appealed to especially, the youths, to be calm and not to take the laws into their hands.

“Operations Safe Heaven had since swung into investigation to bring the perpetrators to book while the bodies of the victims had been deposited at the hospital in Kagoma,” he said.

The chairman urged residents of the affected community to keep close contact with security agencies by providing useful information that would aid in combating insecurity in the area.
