Magajin Garin Daura: groups hold special prayer session

Disturbed over their abduction and prolong silence, the Daura Emirate Social Media forum on Sunday organised a special prayer session for God’s intervention for safe return of two of their sons.

Daily Trust reports that two of their sons namely: the Magajin Garin Daura Musa Umar Uba and Abba Dan Deza, a staff of Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) have till today spent 54 and 22 days respectively since their abduction.

Uba was abducted at his Daura residence while Deza was picked up after he had arrived Kano from Lagos on his way to Daura for Sallah.

Speaking at the event, the chairman of forum, Abubakar Abdulhamid Dantakai said the prayers organised was aimed at seeking Allah’s intervention on the issue and draw awareness over their non-release from their abductors.

He said the forum is greatly concern and disturbed over the incidents especially the prolong silence and decided to hold the prayers for their safe return saying “this is a great calamity and unfortunate situation”

On his part, the younger Brother of Magajin Garin Daura, the Danlawan Daura, Umar Umar Ata, said till date, the family has no information or contact from the abductors and have handed over all things to Allah and thanked the organisers for their concern and show of love and brotherhood.

Several Islamic scholars and many Islamiyah school pupils read the Quran and special Dua’s for their safe return.

Among the scholars are Malam Safiyanu Dan Sanwai, Sheikh Musa Mansur Adam, Sheikh Umar Mohd Aljazeerah and Malam Mansur Mohd.
