Manchester United’s Paul Pogba to force Real Madrid move

Paul Pogba is prepared to go on strike to force through a move to Real Madrid.

The Manchester United midfielder is desperate to go to Spain and is prepared to refuse to play during August.

Despite the Premier League transfer window closing before the start of the season, the European window remains open until the end of August – meaning Madrid could sign him after the start of the English league.

And Pogba, while preferring to have the move sorted before then, would be willing to go on strike, according to Spanish website ABC.

Pogba had suggested he wanted to leave Manchester United, during a promotional campaign with Adidas in Tokyo.

“Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well,” Pogba, 26, told reporters in Tokyo.

“For me, I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me, it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

“I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else.”
