Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad of Bauchi State yesterday promised to strengthen the state’s healthcare sector by declaring a state of emergency to ensure effective healthcare delivery.
He disclosed this in Bauchi when members of Global Affairs Canada paid him a courtesy visit.
According to him, declaring a state of emergency will help tackle the challenges facing the sector.
Earlier, the team leader, Daniel Arsenault, disclosed that N15 billion would be released to the Bauchi State Government for execution of human capital development programmes.
