Two indigenous companies have donated school items including school bags, books and other stationeries to over one thousand pupils of Amuwo-Odofin Primary School, Amuwo-Odofin Special School, and Unity Primary School in Lagos.
According to the companies, Essenza and Kuddy Cosmetics, the gesture was aimed at bringing happiness and laughter to the face of the kids and also to give them more reasons to stay in school.
Speaking during the donations, the Executive Director of Essenza, Abiola Kasumu, and the Marketing Director of Kuddy Cosmetics, Fashola Abdullahi, expressed their delight at being able to spend fun time with the children while also putting smiles on their faces.
They assured that the principles and commitment of Essenza and Kuddy Cosmetics as top beauty stores prioritize the welfare and beauty health of Nigerians regardless of their demography.
The donation which took place at the school premises also featured lots of games and fun moments with the kids including bouncing castle, face painting, music, and dancing competition – all to the kids’ delight.
The companies added that it was also part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to give back to the society, hence the donations to commemorate this year’s Children’s Day with the pupils.
