Artist Paula Ukwenya’s last good read is Francine Rivers’s ‘Redeeming Love’. “I was skeptical about reading it at first when I read the summary at the back, but decided to give it a try in some hours of my free time,” she said. But “when I read it, I couldn’t put it down. The author has a talent for inspiring you to be a better person. Each character is brought alive in a manner that allows you feel their emotions and experiences, including the challenges they go through and how they grow to overcome these challenges.”

Ukwenya studied Fine Arts in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and majored in Art History. She also indulged significantly in painting and illustration. She is also a creative writer and a member of the African Writers Conference committee.
