FG will always give attention to education, says Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday assured Nigerians of his administration’s determination of providing enablement for university development.

The President gave the reassurance at 13th Convocation ceremony of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra state, during the conferment of awards on postgraduate and honourary degrees beneficiaries.

Represented by the Minister of State for Education ,Prof. Anthony Anwuka, President Buhari said his administration would always give maximum attention to the education because it is the bedrock of any meaningful development.

According to him, without education, there won’t be reasonable development in any society and to achieve greatness this administration has given priority attention to knowledge.

Buhari said that his administration has concluded plans to be proving uninterrupted electricity supply in the nation’s tertiary institutions through solar panels.

“Education is the bedrock of social and economic development of any country. This Government will give primary attention to education to help with the nation’s development” he stated.

The president also said that, Federal Government would facilitate youths employments, through youth entrepreneurship by providing them with needed resources to be gainful employed.

”Government has put in place a lot of measures to ensure employability of our graduates. The Bank of Industry and others are providing enabling resources for their take off” he said.
