The Board of Directors of Ospoly Microfinance Bank (MFB), Iree, Osun State, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Dauda Adebisi-Balogun as the new Managing Director (MD) of the bank.
Alhaji Adebisi-Balogun is to replace Sir Femi Fapohunda, the pioneer MD of the bank who is retiring.
Adebisi-Balogun, until his appointment was the MD of OSPOLY Ventures, a stable of the polytechnic.
He hails from Ilobu, in Irepodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
He holds a BSc in Business Administration from Unilag and an MBA from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
He is a member of the Chattered Institute of Administration and a Fellow of Chattered Institute of Public Management. He is well trained in the art of business, banking, finance and public management.
He is a former staff of AfriBank and Trans International Bank and is presently the Chairman, Ilobu-Asake Development Union.
His letter of appointment signed by the Director of Administration of the bank, who is also the Registrar of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Barr. B.M. Salawu, states that his appointment commenced on May 2, 2019.
