The Akwa Ibom State Government has said it is ready to inaugurate 49 road projects ahead of the May 29, 2019, democracy celebrations.
The Commissioner for Works, Mr. Ephraim Inyangeyen, said this yesterday in Uyo during a media briefing on the performance of the state government on road construction.
Mr. Inyageyen said the government was concerned about roads that linked communities in the state and had concentrated on areas that had for long been neglected.

He stated that road projects not captured in the first tenure of Gov. Udom Emmanuel’s administration would be the focus of government in the early days of the second term.
