Repairs ongoing at N/Assembly gate after Shi’ites invasion

Repair works are currently ongoing at the National Assembly entrance gate after yesterday’s invasion by members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN).

Our correspondents saw engineers, welders and others at work, trying to fix a section of the entrance gate badly damaged yesterday by the protesting Shi’ites.

Recall that Shi’ites protesters stormed National Assembly yesterday in protest against the continued detention of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
