The abductors, it was gathered, have not contacted family of the victims as the time of filing this report.

The road, which is only linked to Wukari and Takum, is the home town of General T.Y. Danjuma and Taraba state Governor, Darius Ishaku. The road has been under the siege of kidnappers forcing many motorists to abandon the road.

When contacted, the state police spokesman, DSP David Misal, said the command is doing its best to checkmate criminal elements including kidnappers terrorizing innocent citizens.
