The award winning Pan-African drama series, MTV Shuga, has returned for the casting of its fourth season in Nigeria, courtesy of MTV Staying Alive Foundation.
The drama series, which has produced many entertainment celebrities, including Lupita Nyong’o and Timini Egbuson among others, is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and supported by MTV Base Africa and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Produced this year by award-winning director, Tope Oshin, the multi-award winning MTV Shuga continues to champion conversations about real issues affecting youths, using relatable characters and stories which revolve around contraception, sexual health, family planning, gender-based violence and other social issues.

According to the organisers, auditions are open to Nigerian residents aged 18+ and will run from 8am until 6pm.
“Participants will be required to provide one head shot photograph (minimum size 4×6 inches) and a form of photo identification, such as a passport, driver’s license, national ID card or student ID card,” they said.
