The 2019 election petitions tribunal in Sokoto on Wednesday disclosed that it has received 33 petitions.
Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Yusufu Ubale Muhammad revealed this at the inaugural sitting of the tribunal in Sokoto.
He explained that the petitions included 20 for House of Assembly,10 for House of Representatives and three for Senatorial elections.
According to him, the Tribunal has six months for its assignment.
He called on participating lawyers and litigants to abide by the stipulated rules.
Other members of the Election Tribunal included Justice I. Wodi and Hamman Idi.
