A member of the House of Representatives from Kano state and Chairman, House Committee on Transport, Abdulmumin Jibrin has said Femi Gbajabiamila remains the best qualified candidate for the House Speaker in the incoming 9th Assembly.
Jibrin stated this on Sunday during the formal declaration by Gbajabiamila for the House Speaker at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
The Director-General of Femi Gbajabiamila Speakership Campaign Organization, added that the Lagos lawmaker has accumulated enough legislative experience that stands him out among other contenders.
“He is the best candidate because when you have him, you consider the job done. He will also ensure the independence of the legislature,” Jibrin said.
