FG, please tackle kidnapping, robbery

The spate of kidnappings and robberies across the country in recent times is a source of worry. Almost on a daily basis people are kidnapped and the abductors demand ransom before setting them free. It has become a business for the people involved and it does not appear as if security agents are doing enough to address the matter. We cannot continue like this. The criminals cannot be allowed to think that they are invisible.  Aside kidnappings, armed robberies are also on the increase. In most cases, aside carting away valuables, the victims are either injured or killed. I call on the federal government to order security agents to tackle the issues immediately. Security chiefs and personnel must rise up to the occasion. The safety of lives and property of citizens must not be toyed with.
