Sokoto Rerun: Large turnout at polling units

Supplementary elections have commenced in some polling units in Sokoto with large turnout recorded.

At Shiyar Danfarijo Magaji Gari ward B,Sokoto North local government, 005 and 009 the exercise commenced at about 8:01am.

Some of the voters said they passed the night at the polling unit as they were eager to exercise their franchise.

Others said they arrived the venue as early as 4:00am.
