The deputy Governor of Taraba state, Haruna Manu, has lost his local government area to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as INEC announces results of Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
The Returning Officer for governorship election in the state, Professor Adamu Iya while announcing the results for governorship election said APC got 46,385 votes in Gassol local government area while PDP got 28,182 votes, just as UDP also secured 1,577 votes.
The results from Gassol local government area was the first to be announced out of 16 local government areas of the state by INEC.
