Our correspondent recalled that in previous elections, it had always been difficult for a sitting governor to win at the polling unit.
The voters at the polling unit said it was the first time, a government in power would be winning the polling unit.
Also, the PDP polled 127 votes to win the House of Assembly election in the polling unit with APC scoring 85 votes.
However the voters turn out was slightly lower than that of the Presidential and National Assembly polls.
